What venue options are available?
We have three purpose-built cinematic sets within our dreamy warehouse-conversion studio. Each set is fully styled for a magical wedding experience and accommodates up to 40 guests, including seating.

Is there parking available?
Yes! Plenty of local street parking is available:

• Jarrett Street: 2-hour parking

• Elswick Street: all-day parking

Is the venue accessible by public transport?
Yes! We’re just a 1-minute walk from the closest stops. Options include:

• Bus: 413, 461X, 461N, 480, 483

• Train: T2, T3

• Metro: M1

Is there wheelchair access?
Our venue is not fully wheelchair accessible due to stairs and the bathroom. We can provide entry via our front entrance on Parramatta Road, but the toilet remains inaccessible.

What local entertainment is nearby?

• Norton Street, Leichhardt: restaurants and bars within minutes’ walk

• King Street, Newtown: bars, restaurants, and entertainment just a short distance away

What amenities are included?

• Professional AV equipment with sound, lighting, and microphone for speeches

• Air-conditioning and heating for year-round comfort

• Bathroom, change room, fridge, freezer, and kitchen

Do you provide photography services?
Yes! All wedding packages include professional photography to capture your ceremony and post-ceremony moments.

• Additional individual photos: $30 per image

• Full gallery: $750

How long until we receive our photos?
Your private online gallery will be delivered within 6 weeks of your wedding date.

Can we opt out of having our photos used for marketing?
Yes! Lovebirds by Sherbet Birdie may use wedding photos for marketing unless you request otherwise in writing before your ceremony.

Can we bring our own vendors?
Yes, you are welcome to hire third-party vendors such as florists or caterers. We also have preferred vendors—contact us for details.

Is catering provided, and can we customize the menu?
Catering is included in select packages with luxury grazing tables. You can also add catering to any package for an additional fee. Dietary preferences, including gluten-free and vegan options, are accommodated upon request.

Are pets allowed?
Yes! We love including furry friends. Please let us know in advance so we can accommodate them.

What themes or settings are available?
We offer three cinematic wedding sets, including:

• Gothic Castle: Dark romance with a touch of drama

• Vegas Love Chapel: Retro, fun, and lively

• Botanic Romance: Romantic and nature-inspired

Can we have live music during the ceremony?
Yes! Our resident musician, Glenn Esmond, can provide live acoustic performances or curated playlists.

Can we bring our own decorations?
Our sets are fully styled, but small personal touches (custom signs, heirlooms) are welcome with advance notice.

Can we have a non-legally binding ceremony?
Absolutely! We offer symbolic ceremonies that look and feel just like a wedding.

How do we book our wedding?
A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your ceremony.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! Payment plans are available. Contact us to discuss your options.

How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as early as possible. Legal weddings require submitting your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) at least 30 days prior. Non-legal ceremonies do not have this requirement. Last-minute weddings may be accommodated depending on our schedule.

Can we bring additional guests beyond our package limit?
Yes. An additional fee of $60 per person applies.

• If your guest count exceeds five extra people, your package will move to the next tier with the corresponding price adjustment.

• Please notify us via email as soon as possible.

Can we extend our booking time on the day?
Additional time must be arranged in advance.

• Extra time on the day: $450 per 30 minutes, subject to availability

Will we have access to the venue before our booked time?
No. Access is only permitted during your agreed-upon time. Early arrivals or late departures will incur additional charges.

What happens if we are late?
If either partner is more than 30 minutes late, Lovebirds by Sherbet Birdie reserves the right to cancel the ceremony. All monies paid will be forfeited.

Can we bring our own celebrant?
Yes of course! We have a list of preferred celebrants should you need some guidance.
All legal paperwork must be submitted at least 30 days prior, your celebrant will guide you through this process.

Do we need to bring witnesses?
Elopement packages require two witnesses. If needed, our staff can act as witnesses.

What legal paperwork is required?
For all legal weddings, a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) must be submitted at least 30 days prior. Your celebrant will guide you through the process.

Can we have a non-legally binding ceremony?
Yes! Non-legal ceremonies are fully supported.

Can we reschedule our wedding date?
Yes, if requested at least 60 days in advance. All reschedules are subject to availability. If we cannot accommodate, the original cancellation policy applies.

What happens if we cancel?

• More than 2 months before: Booking fee is forfeited

• Less than 2 months before: 50% of total package price is payable

• Less than 14 days before: 100% of total package price is payable

What happens in the case of unforeseen events?
For events like extreme weather or government-mandated restrictions, we will make reasonable adjustments to proceed.
For events like natural disasters or pandemics preventing us from fulfilling services, rescheduling within six months may be offered, subject to availability.
